Headquartered in Fairmont, West Virginia, Innovative Response Technologies, Inc.
(IRT®) is a high-tech manufacturing company that provides a lean,
adjustable work force that uses quality processes and specializes
in assisting developers to move concept models or prototypes to a
manufacturing solution, stressing quality and rapid processes.
Our success is based on a networked business model. This allows us to instantly store, add, and share data and information with our customers.
Our philosophy is to look at the product from a manufacturing perspective, where costs are critical, assembly is streamlined, and quality is paramount. Drawings, parts lists, and assembly methods are defined and documented for assembly by workers and all parts are 100 percent tested to deliver a quality product.
IRT® was originally established to manufacture the EOD
BomBot®, an unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) system, for
the Joint Service EOD Community in 2006. IRT® delivered
over 2300 of these BomBots, most of which were sent to the
Iraqi theater in support of U.S. military. In addition, IRT®
has and continues to supply various departments and agencies of the
U.S. government, as well as a growing number of law enforcement and
first responder organizations.
IRT® is a subsidiary of the West Virginia High Technology Consortium
(WVHTC) Foundation. The Scientific Research Group, a department
of the WVHTC Foundation, specializes in developing and designing
products for a number of U.S. government agencies. IRT®
continues to provide services for the WVHTC Foundation in order
to assist it in finding a manufacturing solution for its engineering
models.
